Swedish energy minister Ibrahim Baylan tells us what represents EU's transition to green energy to him.

Ibrahim Baylan was born in a remote village in Turkey and moved as a child refugee to Sweden. To him, Europe’s move toward green energy represents the ease and ability to access energy and heating via the natural resources available across regions. This access to energy was sorely lacking when he was a child. He and his family walked long distances to collect water which was heated using kindling and wood. The heated water had to be shared between numerous family members due to the lack of this fuel. Having hot water on demand for bathing he says is something Swedes do not have to think about, due to the continuous availability of energy via renewables.
