UK's Royal Mail says there are no grounds for a pay strike

LONDON – Royal Mail said on Tuesday it believed there were no grounds for industrial action at the group, after workers union CWU said it would hold a ballot over pay.

“We believe there are no grounds for industrial action,” a Royal Mail spokesperson said via e-mail. “We have further talks on change with CWU this week. We hope this will ultimately lead to an agreement.”
