BELFAST - An agreement to ease the impacts of Britain's European Union divorce deal on Northern Ireland can be achieved if there is good will from both sides, European Commission Vice-President Maros Sefcovic said on Friday on a trip to the British region.
"We are looking for all the options ... We are ready to explore all the flexibilities within the protocol and I believe that if there is a good will and good cooperation, we can achieve that," said Sefcovic, referring to the section of the Brexit deal that deals with Northern Ireland.
