German train drivers to go on strike again from Saturday

BERLIN - Germany's GDL train drivers' union on Friday said its members would go on strike over a wage dispute from Aug. 21 until Aug. 25, its second action within weeks.

The strike will start at Deutsche Bahn's cargo business on Saturday at 1700 local time and will affect travellers from 0200 on Monday, GDL chief Claus Weselsky said.

The train drivers went on strike from Aug. 10 until Aug. 13
