DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ireland's July unemployment rate was revised up to 5.3% from 4.6% on Tuesday following the release of quarterly data by the statistics agency.

Employment, which is measured comprehensively on a quarterly basis, increased by 2% or 45,000 people year-on-year in the three months to June, compared with a 3.7% increase in the previous quarter, the data showed.
