Floral decoration inside of the Brussels' city hall during "Flowertime" event

Brussels is awash with colour as the city hosts an international flower festival.

Even the Belgian capital's famous Manneken Pis sculpture is decked out in flowers.

Flowertime, which runs from August 14-18, is an international plant and flower arrangement event.

Florists from around the world are descending on the city to showcase their designs.

It's held at Brussels' Grand Place every two years.
