Puerto Rico stripped of bowling gold after failed drug test
LIMA (Reuters) – Puerto Rico was stripped of the Pan Am Games men’s doubles bowling gold medal after a failed drug test, the Pan American Games Association said on Sunday.
Jean Perez Faure tested positive for Chlorthalidone, a banned diuretics and masking agent.
As a result, United States has been elevated to gold.
Colombia moves up to silver while Mexico gets onto the podium with the bronze.
