LONDON (Reuters) – The official receiver to British Steel has been “encouraged” by interest shown in buying the company, which was put into compulsory liquidation in May, Business Minister Greg Clark told parliament on Wednesday.
“The official receiver has said that he is encouraged by the level of interest in purchasing British Steel and his special managers EY are currently in further discussions with potential buyers,” he said.
