BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Monday dismissed criticism of his comments last week floating his son Eduardo's appointment as U.S. ambassador saying that as president sometimes he needs to make decisions that "don't please everyone."

"If he's being criticized this much, it's a sign he's the right person," said Bolsonaro in a speech during a congressional ceremony. Eduardo Bolsonaro is a federal congressman and has been advising his father on foreign affairs.
