PARIS (Reuters) - French consumer confidence levels increased in June to reach their highest mark in more than a year, according to official data, as the euro zone's second-biggest economy continues its recovery from the effects of anti-government protests.

The official INSEE statistics agency said on Wednesday that its measure of consumer confidence in France rose to 101 points in June, up from 99 in May.

A Reuters poll of 15 economists had given an average forecast of 100 points for the June level.

The June consumer confidence figure was also the highest since it reached 101 points back in April 2018.
