(Reuters) - AbbVie Inc is nearing a deal to buy Botox-maker Allergan PLC for more than $60 billion (47 billion pounds), the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Both companies did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.
