Telecom Italia CEO says talks with Open Fiber over merger 'quite advanced'

FLORENCE, Italy (Reuters) - Talks between Telecom Italia (TIM) and broadband infrastructure group Open Fiber over a possible merger of their networks are quite advanced, TIM's chief executive said on Wednesday.

"I think it would be a positive operation for both companies," Luigi Gubitosi said on the sidelines of a conference.
