With puffed chests and ruffled feathers, some of the rarest and fanciest pigeons in Egypt gathered at an event in Cairo.
The show, which organisers said is the largest instalment of the gathering yet, is host to more than 200 types of birds.
There are no prizes or best-in-show awards, just an opportunity for fellow pigeon admirers to see each other's flocks.
