A team of professional climbers brought some Christmas cheer to children being treated at a Moscow hospital on Thursday.

The climbers, who were from several different emergency service units in the Russian capital, wore Santa costumes and abseiled down the front of the hospital building before handing out presents to the sick children.

"I believe that all the wishes to Santa will come true this year, for us as well as for all the other kids, and we will all return home soon," said Elena Golik, the mother of one of the children.
