PARIS (Reuters) - France's far-left CGT union on Monday announced two strikes by workers at state-controlled utility EDF <EDF.PA>, in protest over plans by the government for possible changes at the company.

The CGT said some 500 EDF staff from the company's nuclear plants would gather at the Paris headquarters of EDF for a strike protest on Tuesday, adding that power output was expected to be reduced due to the action.

Another strike was expected on Nov. 29, it said.
