WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. judge in Maryland on Friday rejected the Trump administration's bid to freeze a lawsuit alleging that President Donald Trump's business dealings violate the U.S. Constitution's prohibition on receiving improper payments from foreign governments.
The administration had sought to block discovery in the case so it could appeal a judge's ruling allowing the suit to go forward.
