Islamic state claims responsibility for attack on Shi'ites in Iraq

CAIRO (Reuters) – Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a bomb attack on Shi’ite Muslim pilgrims in Iraq on Tuesday, the Sunni Islamist militant group’s news agency Amaq reported.

The roadside bomb killed three pilgrims as they walked to a holy site near the northeastern Iraqi city of Khanaqin.
