DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ireland's minority government wants to complete a review and potential renewal of its expiring "confidence and supply" deal with the main opposition party that props it up by the end of October, Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said on Tuesday.
"We have agreed that our two parties are going to engage now. I'm happy to do a review, but what I'd actually like to do is to agree a new programme and for the government to continue until the summer of 2020. I think we can get this done by the Halloween break or certainly the end of the Halloween recess period," Varadkar told national broadcaster RTE
