LONDON (Reuters) - England have called up Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk for the first time to replace the injured James Tarkowski in the Nations League squad to face Croatia and Spain.

The 26-year-old Dunk will report on Monday with the rest of Gareth Southgate's youthful 25-man squad.

England, who are second in Group A4, face third-placed Croatia in Rijeka on Friday before taking on leaders Spain in Seville the following Monday.

Dunk's only previous international call-up was for the Under-21 squad when he was an unused substitute in a 5-0 win over Iceland in November 2011.
