Floodwater from Hurricane Florence has failed to subside in the town of Conway, South Carolina, and its surrounding areas, with drone footage recorded on September 24 showing the extent of the flooding.
The nearby Waccamaw River stood three feet above its previous flood record, set by Hurricane Matthew in 2016, and was expected to rise another foot, peaking at 22 feet Tuesday or Wednesday.
