Mourners including Annan's cousin pay respects to late former UN chief

Ghanaians paid their respects to former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan in Accra on Tuesday, ahead of Thursday's state funeral.

The grandson of tribal chiefs, he was the first black African to become the UN leader and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.

Ghanaians have thronged at a conference centre in Accra to remember him.
