Germany processing over 25 banking licences as a result of Brexit - watchdog

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Germany is processing more than 25 banking licenses in the wake of Britain's decision to leave the European Union, the president of Germany's financial market watchdog said on Thursday.

Bafin's president Felix Hufeld also said that regulators could enact emergency measures in the case of a so-called hard Brexit to minimise chaos.
