BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Commission on Friday said it had cleared a scheme to reduce nuclear levies for large users of electricity in Slovakia, saying such a decision was in line with EU rules.

The Commission, which oversees competition issues in the European Union, said the scheme was limited to companies exposed to international trade and was proportionate.
