Pope Francis blessed a Formula E racing car at the Vatican on Wednesday.
The Pontiff met the Chief Executive of the Formula E series Alejandro Agag, greeted drivers and blessed the pregnant wife of one of the drivers.
The first ever Rome E-Prix takes place for the first time this week, a race where all cars are electric.
