Three killed, 80 wounded in protests in Iraqi Kurdish town -local officials

ERBIL, Iraq (Reuters) – Three people were killed and 80 wounded during protests in the Iraqi Kurdish town of Ranya on Tuesday, local government officials said.

Hundreds of people were protesting to demand that the semi-autonomous region’s government quit, in a second day of violent unrest in Iraq’s Kurdish north.
