PARIS — A suspected knife attacker was subdued and killed by police in Marseille Sunday after a rampage in the city's main station.
Police in the southern coastal city said they had "neutralized" the assailant, without giving further details.
French television channel said BFM TV reported that two passers-by had been fatally stabbed but the report could not be independently confirmed by NBC News.
French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said he was immediately heading to the scene of the attack.
