A yak racing event was held in Damxung County of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region on Sunday (August 13).
As a comic highlight of the annual Damxung Horse Festival, the event mainly features the cooperation between yak and the rider, stressing not the results but the joy it inspired in the spectators.
Sunday’s race had 16 entires, with each yak being herded by three competitors.
