Trash orchestra takes music world by storm

In the poorest parts of Asuncion, Paraguay’s capital, a recycled orchestra has risen from the waste of a local landfill. The Cateura Orchestra is composed of 300 boys and girls, many from poor families, whose instruments are made from recycled waste material.

Their story captured the world’s attention and the group has even played with Megadeath and Metallica, as well as inspiring a documentary.
