Final preparations are taking place ahead of France’s presidential election.

Some 67,000 polling stations are being set up across the country with town halls, community centres, schools and other public buildings being converted for the vote.

On Friday election officials in the town of Violay in France’s Auvergne region were getting ready for Sunday’s ballot.
