Hundreds of people joined together to celebrate the start of spring under Tokyo’s cherry blossom trees as they reached ‘peak bloom’. At Ueno Park, in the Japanese capital, people took time to feast and celebrate together following the ‘Hanami’, an age-old Japanese tradition of appreciating the transient beauty of flowers.
