The Running of the Brides in Thailand saw 250 couples complete a four kilometre (2.4 miles) run on Saturday to win the first prize worth around €26,000 to fund their wedding.
Holding weddings can be expensive and so the couples were hoping an impressive running performance might see them come first in the race and pay for their big day.
The race was won by 29-year old Sirada Thamwanna and her soon-to-be groom Sittichai Prasongsin, 27.
