Israel’s leaders paid their respects at the coffin of one of the country’s founding fathers, Shimon Peres, on Thursday (September 29) outside the Knesset in Jerusalem.
Current Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minsiter Benjamin Netanyahu laid wreaths at the coffin. Peres’ former spokewoman, Ayelet Frisch, was visibly moved as she paid her respects.
