China: deadly Typhoon Nepartak

Typhoon Nepartak is being blamed for killing four people in Minqing County of southeast China’s Fujian Province.

Nepartak, the first typhoon of the year, brought to Minqing heavy rain raising the water level of a local river from seven to eight meters.

Local authorities and troops have joined residents in carrying out relief work and distribution of emergency supplies that have been delivered to Bandong.
