Hundreds of households have been flooded in southwestern Romania forcing nearly 300 people out of their homes.
In Resita, Caras Severin county (SW Romania) it rained for almost 24-hours. A red code alert was issued for Barzava river, which overflowed. Flash floods in Salaj county (Western Romania) also swept away a woman and her two children who were riding in a horse-cart, killing one of the children.
