Speedgolf is already big in the US and is fast becoming popular in the United Kingdom.
The very first British Open Speedgolf Championships have taken place in East Sussex.
The objective is to hit the lowest score in the quickest time possible.
Its a kind of golf club, running club.
Gary Tuffield explains the allure:
“It is great fun. You’ve got to get your eye in on the tee, every single shot you’ve got to make sure that your composed, ready to hit the ball. So yeah it really was brilliant fun but it’s certainly pretty tiring.”
By the way the George Scott the pro at the Boars Head Golf Centre, which hosted the event claimed the prize.
Not something for those that feel a little below par.
