The Sochi Autodrom was officially opened on Saturday.
Formula One’s newest venue is also Russia’s first ever Grand Prix.
The Black Sea resort of Sochi, which hosted the Winter Olympics in February, is due to stage the race on October 12 and is the 16th of 19 Grand Prix of the season.
The governing body FIA has already given the circuit its seal of approval and F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has said there are no doubts over the inaugural Russian GP despite months of political turmoil currently engulfing the country.
Formula One teams have also ruled out any boycott of the race.
