The town of Lienz in East Tyrol played host to the 27th Dolomitenmann competition; billed as the world’s toughest relay race.

Groups of four battled it out over a gruelling course, comprising of mountain running, paragliding, wildwater kayaking and mountain biking.

The 2014 edition was particularly exciting as several quartets were in the running for first place. In the end, the Adidas Outdoor team claimed victory with a time of four hours, seven minutes and fifty seven seconds.
