A monument marking the 70th anniversary of the Nazi occupation of Hungary is continuing to draw protests in Budapest.

Protesters say the monument tries to downplay the country’s role in the Holocaust.

Forums and concerts are being held as Jewish and civil rights groups hope Hungary’s new government will destroy it.

On Tuesday up to 100 police secured the site as a punk protest band performed.
