A Swedish court has upheld the arrest warrant for Julian Assange who is wanted for allegations of sexual assault dating back to 2010.

His legal team called for the warrant to be cancelled last month. They plan to challenge Wednesday’s ruling.

The WikiLeaks founder has been holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for over two years to avoid extradition to Sweden.
