The 65-year-old, who will retire after the World Cup, six years after taking charge, will undoubtedly be relying on Xherdan Shaqiri’s surging runs. Despite spending most of the season on the Bayern bench, the forward has excelled when given a chance and could be one to watch this summer.
Switzerland have been paired with Ecuador, France and Honduras in Group E.
