Coca Cola is to remove a controversial ingredient from from some of its US products.

The chemical, Brominated vegetable oil, known as BVO is a stabiliser and according to research has the potential to damage skin and cause nerve problems including memory loss.

The chemical is already banned in the EU and Japan.
