Pakistan’s former President Pervez Musharraf was rushed to hospital on Thursday, the same day he was due to stand trial for high-treason.

Musharraf’s lawyers said the 70 year-old had been hit by chest pains on his way to court.

It’s third time Musharraf has failed to appear before judges.

He faces a possible death penalty if convicted.
