The European Tram Drivers Championships took place in Budapest over the weekend attracting drivers from 17 cities.

Alberto Petra drives a tram in Florence: “At the beginning braking was much more difficult. There are days when its easier. It’s hard to judge where one stops.”

Out correspondent in Budapest says: “Driving a 40-ton tram is never easy, the championships are all about safety and skill.”
