Tech giant Apple is buying Israel-based chip developer PrimeSense.

Israel-based PrimeSense was behind the motion sensing device Kinect used Microsoft’s Xbox 360 game console.

The buy-out is the latest in a series of Apple purchases of chip developers.

Both firms have confirmed the deal, but not the price tag. Israeli media report that Apple is paying around $350 million (260 million euros) for PrimeSense.
