Julia Roberts and Ewan McGregor took to the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of their latest film ‘August: Osage County’.
Directed by John Wells, Julia Roberts plays alongside another Oscar winner, Meryl Streep.
The films transfers the Tony Award winning stage play by Tracy Letts to the silver screen.
The film sees a dysfunctional family reunited for a funeral – watch out for Violet the pill-popping, knife- tongued matriarch!
Scarlett Johansson was in town to promote two movies, Gordon Levitt’s ‘Don Jon’ and Jonathan Glazers’s disturbing ‘Under the Skin’.
The actress described how she sheds one role in readiness for the next: “I’ve worked in the industry for 20 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that you kind of have to shake off the role when you’re done with it. When I finish a completed project, I kind of let it live and die there and clear my head for the next project.”
Jonathan Glazer directs ‘Under the Skin’ adapted from the novel by Michael Faber. In one of her more revealing roles, Johansson plays an alien in Scotland who preys on unwary hitchhikers.
