After four frustrating years at Real Madrid Brazilian attacking midfielder and former Ballon d’or winner Kaka has returned to Italian side AC Milan on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old has been plagued by injuries over the last few years and made only 82 league appearances during his time at Real
following his 65-million-euro move in 2009.
His dip in form has also cost him his place in Brazil’s national squad ahead of hosting the World Cup next year although the player has said he hopes his move back to Milan will help lead to a national call up.
Kaka has signed a two-year contract in his second stint at the club which comes exactly ten years after he made his debut for the Rossoneri.
His move comes in the wake of Gareth Bale’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu which pushed Kaka even further down the pecking order.
