Pop star Lady Gaga has released the first music video for her new album ‘ARTPOP’, which is set for release on November 11.
The first single ‘Applause’ is an up-tempo tune Gaga said she wrote while sidelined with a hip injury earlier this year.
The song received generally positive reviews debuting at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 making it her 12th top-10 single in the United States, while peaking at number one in Spain.
Gaga, who calls her fans “little monsters”, will release a social media app ahead of the album on September 1 in an attempt to make connections between music, art, fashion and technology.
