The German Chancellor and Polish Prime Minister have opened the world’s largest hi-tech trade fair in Hanover. The trade show in the northern German city will open its doors for five days on Tuesday morning. More than 4,000 visitors from 110 countries are expected to take part. The industry is bucking the trend for economic gloom, with smartphones, tablets and cloud computing being given the credit.
