Protests demand that Georgia president step down

More than thousand protesters gathered outside the Georgian president’s residence in Tblisi on Sunday calling for his resignation. Monday will mark five years since Mikhail Saakashvili was sworn in for a second term. Despite a constitutional two term limit, a 2006 amendment ensures presidential elections are only held in October.
