The sci-fi thriller Looper, starring Emily Blunt, Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, opened the 37th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie is set in 2042. Gordon-Levitt plays a special assassin – a looper – whose job is to kill targets sent from 30 years into the future. Loopers are paid on the condition that targets must never escape.
Then one day he recognises his next hit is an older version of himself…
